Retiring a License

To qualify for Retired Status, you must:

  • Have held a valid license as an architect or landscape architect in any jurisdiction for at least ten (10) consecutive years. 
  • Notify the Board, in writing prior to or at renewal, that you have retired and are not practicing, and will not practice, architecture or landscape architecture in any jurisdiction. 
  • The retired license shall expire and be renewable on the same two (2) year cycle as an original Wyoming active license.
  • You must list your occupation as retired on the board-approved renewal form and certify that you not currently practicing, and will not practice, architecture or landscape architecture in any jurisdiction.
