Wyoming Board of Architects and Landscape Architects

Board Statistics

Filed complaints remain at a lower rate than in years past. The Board attributes the decrease in complains and disciplinary actions to the following efforts:

  • Decreased complaints filed by the public due to increased efforts to educate the public about the regulation and practice of architecture.

  • Decreased continuing education violations due to increased communication on the Board's website, in newsletters, and email notices.

  • Decreased application denials due to additional clarification of requirements and increased communication from Board Staff.

Based on the assumption that licensees aged 65 + are "retirement eligible", the Board's data shows 19.06% of Wyoming licensed architects and 7.43% of Wyoming licensed landscape architects were retirement eligible in November 2019.

In December 2020, the numbers increased to 27.12% of Wyoming licensed architects and 13.33% of Wyoming licensed landscape architects.
